Shift Social, the growing local community of car enthusiasts, is proud to announce that through the incredible support of its members, attendees, and sponsors, an impressive £5,204 has been raised for Naomi House & Jacksplace—a vital hospice service supporting young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for the group, reflecting both its passion for motoring and its commitment to giving back to the community.
Driving Community, Making a Difference
Throughout the year, Shift Social has hosted monthly car meets that have quickly become a staple of the local automotive scene. These events have brought together people from all walks of life—owners, enthusiasts, families, photographers, first-timers, and long-standing supporters—all united by a love of cars and a desire to create positive change.
The generosity shown at each meet has been instrumental in reaching this fundraising total. Every donation, raffle ticket, sponsor contribution, and act of support has directly contributed to helping young adults and their families benefit from essential services at Jacksplace.
The funds raised will help Naomi House & Jacksplace continue offering specialist nursing care, respite stays, family support, and life-enhancing experiences for the young people who depend on them. With the hospice relying heavily on charitable donations, this contribution will genuinely make a meaningful difference. The group have surpassed last years fundraising efforts for the hospice.
