The Foresters Arms Kicks Off Charity Quiz Nights with a Successful Start

The Foresters Arms exceeded expectations with its first charity quiz night, raising an impressive £100 to kick-start fundraising efforts for this year’s chosen charity.

The pub has a strong tradition of supporting good causes, having raised money for various charities over the years. Under the stewardship of landlady Anne Watkins, The Foresters Arms has become a true community pub—welcoming, inclusive, and a hub for local events. From fundraising initiatives to social gatherings, Anne has fostered a space where people can come together, support each other, and make a difference.

The next Charity Quiz Night will take place on Tuesday, 11th March, in support of the Countess of Brecknock Hospice. Please note that this is a change from the originally planned date of 4th March.

Pubs like The Foresters Arms play a vital role in communities, offering more than just a place to enjoy a drink. They provide a space for social interaction, combat loneliness, and contribute to local causes. Events like these quiz nights not only bring people together but also make a tangible impact on charities in need.

With a strong start to the fundraising efforts, The Foresters Arms looks forward to another successful evening and encourages teams to book early to secure their spot.
