A group of 14 Gestra employees spent the day volunteering at Harmony Woods on February 5, 2025, supporting local environmental charity Andover Trees United (ATU). Their efforts focused on planting 40 crab apple trees along a key pathway to help combat erosion and enhance the natural landscape.
The team also contributed to mulching a hedgerow, improving soil quality and supporting plant growth in the area. Volunteers took time out in ATU’s sustainable woodland cabin, which serves as both a classroom and a base for ongoing environmental projects.
This volunteering day reflects Gestra’s commitment to sustainability and community involvement, while highlighting the valuable role businesses can play in supporting local green initiatives. Andover Trees United extended their thanks to both the Gestra team and their dedicated regular volunteers who help keep these projects running year-round.
