The Lights brings Beauty and the Beast ballet to Andover this festive season, Sunday 11 December

Coming up this Christmas, a beautiful ballet from Ballet Theatre UK at The Lights.

With previous ballets such as The Snow Queen, Cinderella and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Lights has built a relationship with the respected dance company in recent years. Ensuring that a consistent program of dance shows is achieved at the local theatre.

The theatre itself is home to many dance classes, both The Lights’ own Strictly Dance, as well as local dance companies Suzanne School of Dance, Oblivion and FL Dance. Showcasing some of the best and brightest local dancers on The Lights stage. With this in mind, it is the perfect opportunity for members of the public to experience a professional ballet in a wonderful setting.

There are two available options for people of Andover surrounding areas on Sunday, 11 December. A matinee at 2:30pm and an evening performance at 7:30pm.

These performances will kick off the festivities at the culture and arts venue, with an enchanting take on the classic tale. Set to the stunning music of Antonín Dvořák, Beauty and the Beast will be full of magic and emotion from the start.

This is a ballet of the highest quality, with the company appearing all over the UK with multiple shows in 2022 and 2023, they have the proven experience and technical proficiencies to wow the audience in Andover in December.
