The Lights ushers in scintillating shows in new season brochure

Crossing over the threshold of its 17th year this October, the cultural arts and entertainment venue in Andover is continuing to bring Andover and surrounding areas more shows than ever before. The new autumn-winter season brochure is evidence of this.

With comedy, capers, children’s shows, and callbacks to iconic singers and bands, the new season is bumper filled with quality.

This season heavily features some of the best and brightest comedians across the country, with Rosie Jones and Angela Barnes kicking things off in September. October brings writer, author, and comedian David Baddiel for a three night-run and a much-loved Geordie Carl Hutchinson. In November the venue welcomes Gary Delaney, Rhys James, and Mark Watson. Finally, Justin Moorhouse sees out 2023 with his tour show “Stretch & Think”. With Chris McCausland bringing his brand-new tour show in January, comedy is on the menu this season!

Also on the menu, is a starter, main course, and dessert of tribute acts, theatre shows and family shows, with a side of magic, ballet or both with both Ben Hart and Ballet Theatre UK bringing The Wizard of Oz to The Lights stage!

Tributes include Think Floyd, Oas-is, Lionel, G2 Definitive Genesis and The Cavern Beatles. Theatre shows such as Crimes on Centre Court, Comedy of Errors and A Christmas Carol. There will be music shows, featuring Marty Wilde, Tenors Unlimited and Jazz at The Movies later this year.

The school holidays might be coming to a close, but the fun for the kids doesn’t stop there, the brochure is filled to the brim with family shows leading up to (and after) Christmas. 2022 favourites Morgan and West bring two massive shows to The Lights both in the autumn and winter, there’s an epic prehistoric show presented by BBC’s Dr Ben Garrod “Ultimate Dinosaurs” in late September, as well as The Three Little Pigs in October half-term. It’s cliché, but there’s something for everyone at The Lights.

Whether you’re 3 or 103, it’s there and available in print in the new season brochure at The Lights. For more information, visit West Street in Andover (SP10) where you’ll find a member of the venue team who would be happy to help. Or call Box Office on 01264 368368.
