A-Fest returned to Andover town centre on Sunday, 27 April, with organisers hailing the event as the biggest and most successful in its history. Thousands of people poured into the High Street to enjoy a jam-packed day of family-friendly fun under glorious spring sunshine.

From live music and interactive activities to community stalls and even therapy goats, the town was buzzing with energy as residents of all ages came together to celebrate everything that makes Andover special. Andover Radio played a key role in setting the upbeat tone for the day, with presenter Ben Tuffin broadcasting live from 10am to midday. His show featured interviews with stallholders and a delightful segment where children gave live weather updates on air.

The event was brought to life by the involvement of countless local businesses, charities, and community groups. A-Fest once again showcased the town’s creative spirit and sense of unity, with highlights including performances, workshops, and hands-on experiences for children and adults alike. The Therapy Goats, brought along by The Three Bees project, proved particularly popular with younger visitors.
Reflecting on the day, event organiser Dmitrijs Meiksans said:
“What an incredible day A-Fest 2025 turned out to be! Thousands of local residents filled the High Street, and the atmosphere was absolutely electric from start to finish. It was heartwarming to see so many families, businesses, charities, and organisations come together to celebrate everything that makes Andover so special. The support shown to the charities and community groups was overwhelming, and the sunshine truly made it a day to remember. We’re so proud to have delivered our best event yet, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the backing of our amazing sponsors. Thank you, Andover – you made A-Fest unforgettable!”
The festivities concluded with a colourful parade from the Andover Scouts in honour of St George’s Day, providing a fitting end to a truly memorable day for the community.
