Thruxton’s Creepy Crawl

The Children of Thruxton were treated to a Spooktacular Halloween Creepy Crawl organised by the Village Association.

The COVID secure and compliant event comprised of 5 spooky sweet stations set along a designated route. Groups of up to 6 visited each stall 15 minutes apart and had a wail of a time.

Residents had gone all out decorating the stalls particularly Edward Fanthorpe-Green whose display looked like something out of a blockbuster movie. The Children were all in fancy dress and prizes were awarded for the best costumes although they were all splendid. The Village Association and generous residents donated all the goodies and the children went home very happy clutching their bounty of treats.

Thruxton Resident Richard Smart said “Massive witches hat off to Cat Boslem for organising such an amazing COVID secure event for the children. The stalls were amazing and thanks to all of the residents who gave up their time and money to ensure that the children had a wonderful night. As always the children themselves were the stars of the show. Their Costumes were amazing, they all had lots of fun and their behaviour and manners were impeccable – a real credit to their families and community.”
