The Abel Foundation is thrilled to unveil its most glamorous event of the year – the Masked Ball – set to dazzle on Saturday, 29th March 2025. Taking place at the elegant Masonic Hall on East Street, the evening promises unforgettable entertainment from 6 PM until 1 AM.
Guests will be treated to a sumptuous three-course dinner, showcasing an exquisite new 2025 menu, followed by a silent disco, a thrilling auction, and a lively casino. The event promises sophistication, fun, and the chance to make a real difference for a worthy cause.
Tickets are £65 per person or £600 for a table of ten, with all proceeds going directly to the Abel Foundation, a local charity dedicated to supporting individuals battling Mitochondrial disease. With no cure currently available, the foundation provides vital financial aid for specialised equipment, respite care, and a 24-hour support network for families navigating this life-limiting condition.
Claire Noakes, Chairman of the Abel Foundation and mother to Abel, who lives with Mitochondrial disease, said:
“The Masked Ball is more than just a spectacular evening – it’s an opportunity for our community to come together and make a meaningful impact. Every ticket sold, every bid placed, and every raffle ticket purchased brings us closer to providing the care and support our families so desperately need.”
Attendees will also have the chance to bid on an array of unique and exciting auction prizes, generously donated by sponsors, and to win fabulous treats in the evening’s raffle.
Tickets can be purchased by emailing secretary@theabelfoundation.org.uk.
There are also sponsorship opportunities available at various levels, offering businesses the chance to showcase their support for this incredible cause. For more details on sponsorship, please email secretary@theabelfoundation.org.uk.
