Two people have been taken to hospital with stab wounds following a serious assault at an address in Andover.
Police were called at around 10pm on Thursday 17 September following reports of a serious assault in Till Close.
Officers attended and found a man and a woman, both aged in their 40s, inside an address with stab wounds to their upper bodies.
Both were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police said a third man had intervened during the incident and sustained a minor injury to his forearm.
A 26-year-old man from Andover was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, possession of a weapon in a public place and common assault of an emergency worker.
He remains in police custody at the time of writing.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
