Vicolo Lounge Lands on High Street in October

Andover’s High Street is set to welcome a vibrant new addition next month with the arrival of Vicolo Lounge. The all-day café-bar will open its doors at 5 High Street, on Tuesday 15th October, transforming the former Barclays building into a colourful and welcoming space.

The Lounges group, which first revealed plans to bring a site to Andover on March 13th, as reported by Love Andover, has now confirmed the official name and opening date.

Part of the popular Lounges group, Vicolo Lounge promises to bring the brand’s trademark relaxed atmosphere to the town centre. Open from morning through to evening, it will serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, with a menu designed to cater for everyone – including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Families, groups of friends, and even dogs will all be made to feel at home.

The Lounges are well known for their eclectic interiors and community-focused ethos, and the Andover venue is expected to be no exception. Alongside a varied food and drinks menu, Vicolo Lounge aims to create a social hub where people can gather, work, or relax throughout the day.

Founded in Bristol in 2002 by friends Dave Reid, Alex Reilley, and Jake Bishop, the Lounges group has grown steadily, with more than 200 venues now established across the UK. Each Lounge has its own unique identity while maintaining the brand’s signature laid-back style.

Menus for Vicolo Lounge, including the provisional Andover offering, can be viewed online at thelounges.co.uk/vicolo/menus.

Further updates will be shared as the opening date approaches, but for now, Andover residents can look forward to a new social spot at the heart of the High Street.
