50-year old automotive centre nears expansion completion

New premises BP Rolls Automtive Andover
New premises: BP Rolls

After six months of refurbishment, BP Rolls have confirmed they will start moving in to new premises within the next few weeks.

Since their acquisition of JB Motors two years ago and a re-brand to ‘BP Rolls Automotive‘, the family-run business has outgrown their existing workshop and is relocating to bigger premises on West Portway Industrial Estate.

Unit 5 will become the main reception for the company’s Andover Headquarters, welcoming customers for both Servicing and MOT Testing and Accident Repair, as well as providing a new conference suite and office space for their sales, business development and marketing departments.

The new building has been designed to be a warm welcoming space featuring a bright, modern reception with a clean and comfortable waiting area, fulfilling the company ambition to create a main dealer style experience but with the friendly, approachable ethos of a family run business.

BP Rolls has been trading in Andover for over 50 years and is one of the largest privately owned automotive businesses in Hampshire, employing a large number of people from the town and servicing the needs of literally thousands of customers from the area. They believe the key to their longevity is their ongoing commitment to implementing new technology, staff development and investing in their facilities in order to keep up with advances in the motor trade and stay one step ahead of the competition.

Marketing Manager Louise Ellison explains, “Our Service and MOT business has grown exponentially in the last two years and in order to future-proof ourselves for further expansion, we knew we needed a bigger premises.

“By chance, this larger site became available alongside our other four buildings on West Portway which has given us the opportunity to create a unified customer service centre, bringing together our Service, MOT and Accident Repair businesses under one roof and providing first class facilities that will be second to none in Andover.”
