The Andover community has once again showcased its remarkable generosity, raising an impressive £7,050 during this year’s Santa Cruises. Santa and his elves spread festive joy as they toured the town’s estates, collecting donations while delighting residents with their cheerful displays.
This year’s total was boosted by a significant contribution from Simplyhealth, with every penny going directly to the Countess of Brecknock Hospice. Over the past four years, the Santa Cruises have raised more than £25,000 for the hospice, reflecting Andover’s strong community spirit and commitment to supporting local causes.

Kevin, a key organiser from Andover Santa Cruises, expressed his thanks:
“Santa and his elves love seeing all the smiling faces as they tour the estates of Andover, and it’s amazing how all those pennies can add up to such a significant total. The hospice is a charity that everyone is aware of, and unfortunately, many of us have, or will have, a need for their incredible services. Supporting them through the festive season is an easy choice.”
The organisers have extended their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated and supported the Santa Cruises, ensuring another successful year for this cherished festive tradition. They look forward to spreading more Christmas cheer next year while continuing to bring the community together with events throughout the year.
