Andover resident Suzanne Glew has launched Ditsy’s Home Help, a new service offering tailored support with day-to-day tasks. The business provides shopping and prescription pick-ups, companionship, and transport to appointments, and is already working with residents at Andover Nursing Home.

Suzanne received a £750 Business Incentive Grant from Test Valley Borough Council to help her get started, after being signposted by IncuHive, the council’s Small Business Service. She is building a growing client base and developing regular relationships with local residents.

“Launching Ditsy’s Home Help has been a rewarding experience. The support from Test Valley Borough Council has given me the opportunity to invest in training and shape a service that responds to what people really need. I’m proud to offer compassionate, reliable care and excited to see the business grow.”

About the grant: Test Valley Borough Council offers support for new businesses, including grants and advice. The Business Incentive Grant is available to businesses based in Test Valley that apply within eight weeks of starting to trade.
