Here at Andover Radio & Love Andover, we’re proud to support one of the region’s most exciting events — the Hampshire Air Festival.

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend as the festival takes flight on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September 2026 at Thruxton Aerodrome, celebrating “The Age of Flight”.

Across both days, you’ll experience an incredible journey through aviation history — from pioneering Great War aircraft to iconic warbirds, including the legendary Spitfire in its 90th anniversary year. Expect thrilling formation aerobatics and the raw power of modern fast jets lighting up the skies.

Saturday Night Extravaganza
Your Saturday ticket also includes an evening spectacular like no other. Watch as the sky transforms with a breathtaking Pyro & Lights Extravaganza, featuring pyrotechnic aircraft displays, illuminated drone formations, a dazzling light show, and a huge fireworks finale over Thruxton.

Fun for All the Family
This isn’t just about what’s in the air — there’s plenty happening on the ground too. From motorcycle stunt displays and military re-enactors to historic vehicles and live music, there’s something for everyone. It’s all designed to complement the flying displays while inspiring the next generation through what the organisers call “education by stealth”.
