Andover residents and businesses are being given a new opportunity to put their questions directly to the town’s new BID Manager, Bill Hawkins, as part of a commitment to greater transparency and community engagement.

Bill will be joining Ben Tuffin on Andover Radio once a month to discuss his work as BID Manager, provide updates on projects taking place in the town centre, and answer questions submitted by members of the public.
The new monthly feature aims to give residents, visitors and local businesses a better understanding of the work being carried out by the Business Improvement District (BID) and provide a platform for open and honest discussion about the future of the town.
The first appearance will take place on Tuesday morning during Ben’s show, where Bill will answer questions submitted in advance by listeners.
Members of the public are being encouraged to submit their questions either by commenting on the Love Andover social media posts or by emailing hello@loveandover.com.
Ben Tuffin said: “One of the things people often tell us is that they want to know more about what’s happening behind the scenes in the town centre and who is making decisions. Bill has been very clear that he wants to be open, accessible and accountable, and this monthly slot on Andover Radio gives people the chance to ask questions directly and hear the answers for themselves.
“We want this to be a genuine conversation with the community, so whether you’re a resident, shopper, visitor or business owner, we’d encourage you to send in your questions.”
Questions can be submitted now ahead of Tuesday’s programme, with Bill set to answer as many as possible during the live interview.
Anyone wishing to submit a question can do so by commenting on the relevant social media post or by emailing hello@loveandover.com.
