The informal drop-in session gave passers-by the chance to ask questions, raise concerns, and learn more about the services available to them — all in a relaxed setting at the heart of the town.

Councillor Iris Andersen joined officers at the event, speaking with members of the public and showing her continued support for community engagement initiatives.

Cllr Andersen said:

“It was fantastic to be out on the High Street alongside our local teams, meeting residents and hearing what matters to them.

“These events are such a positive way to stay connected to the community and make sure people feel supported and informed.”

The event was warmly received, with many locals stopping to chat and take away information about local initiatives, safety advice, and wider council services.

These regular Beat Surgeries are part of ongoing efforts to maintain strong and visible links between public services and the local community. Future dates and locations will be announced via Hampshire Constabulary and Test Valley Borough Council communication channels.
