Training in Partnership is offering a series of QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) courses in Andover throughout September, October, November and December 2026.
The nationally recognised blended qualification combines flexible online learning with a practical, instructor-led training day at Training in Partnership’s training hub in the Chantry Centre. Learners are required to complete the online element before attending their face-to-face session.
Designed to help participants feel confident and prepared when a baby or child becomes ill or injured, the practical training covers a wide range of essential paediatric first aid skills.
Topics include infant and child CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), choking, unconsciousness, the recovery position, bleeding, shock, burns, fractures, head injuries, seizures, febrile convulsions, anaphylaxis, meningitis and sepsis awareness.
The course is particularly suitable for nursery and preschool practitioners, childminders, nannies, teachers, school support staff, holiday club teams and others responsible for caring for babies and children.
Following successful completion of the online learning, practical training and assessments, learners will receive the nationally recognised QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF), which is valid for three years.
Those attending the face-to-face element will also be offered a complimentary annual eLearning knowledge update while their qualification remains current. This provides an opportunity to revisit important knowledge between formal courses but does not replace the regulated qualification, practical assessment or required three-year renewal.
