Halloween fun for Andover families

Is Halloween cancelled this year?

It’s a question that many parents – and some children – have been asking since Boris Johnson urged the nation to limit mixing with people to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

Will Hallowe’en – on October 31 be cancelled?

No it’s not cancelled it will just be different this year.

Spooky walks in Andover

There is only one place to go in Andover for a spooky walk.

Iron Bridge/Ladies Walk
The story that most people who live in Andover know is of the ghost of the White Lady who haunts over and below the bridge. It’s told that there was a young girl who stole a horse and was chased and she and the horse jumped off the bridge, and the hoof beats are often heard up there at night.

Do you know of any local spooky stories ?

We would love to know them, please email them to me at familylife@loveandover.com

Local Halloween events

Please bear in mind with the ever changing Covid rules and regulations that it best to check that events are still happening as planned before you travel, no one wants to turn up somewhere and find out it’s not happening and have upset and disappointed children.

We are excited to be working with Andover Bid and In Andover to bring you a fun family Halloween activity in Andover. Click here for further details.
