Help Andover’s Michael Portsmouth in Australia Medal Bid

Andover’s Michael Portsmouth is bidding to win a medal for Great Britain in Australia but he needs your help!

Trained in Andover by Mike McGarry, Michael is the youngest member of the squad competing at the WCJJO World Championships in Australia and won Silver in the U17 AMA Nationals in Jujitsu.

Michael’s Mum Sharon said “I have a huge ask. Our son, Michael Portsmouth has been selected to represent our fabulous country in Team GB Sports Jujitsu, in Australia. He is the youngest team member at only 16 years old. Early in July Michael won the Silver medal, competing in the men’s under 82kg!

To get to Oz Michael is in desperate need of help, as it’s entirely self funded. So can I please ask that people dig deep and help us (his parents) to help him get there by donating to his Just Giving page.”

There are only 3 days left to donate. If we can just raise enough for his flights, that would be fantastic. PLEASE HELP MICHAEL ACHIEVE HIS GOAL AND POSSIBLY BRING A MEDAL HOME.

You can go to Michael’s Just Giving Page to help Michael’s bid.
