This incredible 99-year-old war veteran has walked 100 laps of his garden and has so far raised more than £13m for NHS Charities.
Capt. Tom began raising funds to thank the NHS staff who helped him with treatment for cancer and a broken hip.
With the aid of a walking frame, he completed 100 laps of the 25-metre loop around his garden in Bedfordshire, in 10-lap chunks well before his 100th birthday – which is on 30th April 2020.
The public has been invited to send a birthday card to the 99-year-old for his centennial birthday, the address we are all asked to use is:
