Lindy’s has been awarded another large new contract to provide lunches for Redwood Global on the Walworth Business Estate in Andover.
Lindy’s already offer the staff lunch service to other businesses in the Andover area and are delighted that the scheme is benefitting more staff working in the town.
Owner Lindy said: “One of the difficulties for businesses on the Walworth Business Estate is that there is nowhere for their staff to go at lunchtime without having to travel into town.”
“Our service means they can choose what they would like, and have it handmade and delivered to their desks, creating happier employees, and actually helping them save money and make healthier lunch choices as well.”
Carol Brown, from Redwood Global: “We had already been using Lindy’s catering services for our corporate events and had been very happy with all of the food provided, so when we heard about the staff lunches offering, it made complete sense for our company to take up this service as well.”
For businesses which are based fairly remotely, with no access to food facilities this service provides a great offering to staff, making them feel more appreciated in the workplace and saves them dashing off to buy expensive sandwiches in the middle of the day.
Once the scheme has been set up, Lindy’s will provide weekly menus, from which staff choose three items a day – a meal and two snacks – and then their choices are created from scratch and delivered.
Lindy added: “Our staff lunch scheme is growing in popularity with contracts for several large companies at the business parks in Andover and we are really excited that we can help support local businesses and help improve the food choices for local workers.”
