A Miss Hampshire 2026 finalist from Andover is inviting the local community to support a special charity raffle next week in aid of Cancer Research UK, raising funds for a cause that holds deep personal significance.

Charlotte Cockcroft will host the fundraising evening at The Town Mills on Thursday 9th July from 7pm to 9pm, bringing together residents for an evening of prizes, community spirit and fundraising.
Entry to the event costs £5, with tickets available by making a donation via a QR code. Those purchasing a ticket are asked to include their full name with their donation before taking part in the raffle. Additional raffle tickets will also be available on the night.
Charlotte said the event is part of her fundraising efforts as she prepares for the Miss Hampshire 2026 final later this month.
The charity is one of three causes Charlotte has chosen to support throughout her pageant journey, alongside A-Sisterhood and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Cancer Research UK has a particularly personal connection after her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when Charlotte was just ten years old.

Speaking previously about her fundraising, Charlotte described her mother as “a true warrior” whose strength continues to inspire her.
Charlotte, who is a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), has also used her Miss Hampshire platform to raise awareness of the deaf community and encourage more people to learn basic British Sign Language.
She previously said she hopes to “break the barriers and the disadvantages that deaf people face in everyday life” while using the competition to give back to the community through charity work.
Ahead of the raffle, Charlotte thanked The Town Mills for providing the venue and said she hopes the evening will bring the community together while supporting one of the UK’s leading cancer charities.
She is also appealing for businesses and individuals who may be able to donate raffle prizes, with anyone wishing to help encouraged to get in touch with her directly.
The Miss Hampshire 2026 final takes place on 19th July, where Charlotte will represent Hampshire while continuing to champion causes close to her heart and raise awareness for the deaf community.
