A new group for Andover mothers has been launched by Sarah Gisbourne of Families NW Hampshire.

The group called ‘Mummy Social’ aims to help solve isolation issues and find solutions for many other concerns facing mothers in North West Hampshire.

To celebrate the launch, organisers are inviting Andover mums to get together at a social event at Riverside Bowl in Andover on 10th May.

The online group organises social events and provides support groups and a chat room for mums to share experiences.

Organisers say the free ‘Mummy Social’ website is all about making new mummy friends: “It’s not always easy to find new friends who have children.

“Many mums describe feeling anxious about throwing themselves straight into a new baby-group environment and feel much more comfortable striking up an initial conversation online.

“The Mummy Social website takes the edge off this anxiety”.
