Anyone in Andover curious about a career in policing can drop in to a recruitment event at The Lights, West Street, tonight, Monday 22 September 2025, from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
Hosted by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, the session will cover:
- Routes into roles as a police officer or police staff
- A chance to meet local Neighbourhood and District Policing Teams
- An introduction to specialist areas including the Dog Unit and CID
- Guidance from the Positive Action Team on support for people from under-represented communities
Chief Inspector Sharath Ranjan, District Commander for Test Valley, said:
