The Angel Inn in Andover has raised more than £900 for local charity Youth Options following a successful day of live music, fundraising and community support.

The popular Andover venue raised a total of £919.50 during its recent music event, with customers, musicians, staff and supporters coming together to raise money for the Hampshire-based charity.
The fundraiser featured live bands throughout the day, alongside ticket sales, donations and meat draws, with those attending encouraged to get involved and help boost the final total.
Behind the scenes, Pat and Dean provided sound throughout the day, while The Angel Inn’s bar and door teams helped keep the event running.
Jodie Tarrant, landlady of The Angel Inn, said the success was another example of the generosity and community spirit found across Andover.
She said: “We smashed it once again! As a town, as a venue, and as a community, we’ve shown what Andover is all about.
“A huge thank you to my fantastic bar staff, all the bands, Pat and Dean for doing the sound all day, our door staff, and all of our amazing customers for always showing up and supporting us.
“Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, donated, joined in with the meat draws and helped make the day such a success.”

The event ultimately raised £919.50 for Youth Options, a charity which works with children and young people across Hampshire, providing support and opportunities designed to help them develop their skills, confidence and potential.
The fundraiser comes at an exciting time for The Angel Inn, which has recently been named as a finalist for Best Venue at the inaugural Andover Music Awards.
The venue is one of three finalists in the category, recognising its contribution to Andover’s live music scene and its continued support for local performers and events.
The first Andover Music Awards will take place at The Lights on 13 October, celebrating musicians, bands, venues, events and others who contribute to the area’s music community.
Jodie added: “Once again, we’ve proved there is so much more to Andover. We are so proud to be part of such a generous and supportive community.
“Thank you all so much.”
The latest fundraiser is another example of local venues, musicians and residents working together to support charities and community organisations across the Andover area.
