Weekend Christmas Celebrations in Andover

Yet again this weekend ( 4th and 5th December) we have another weekend to enjoy jam packed with festive celebrations to enjoy here in Andover.

Christmas begins at Finkley Down Farm , Santa is there this weekend . The Santa experience is already sold out, but you can still go along and soak up the festive atmosphere at the farm.

Burdock Valley Players present Treasure Island (Almost a Pantomime) and invite us to Join them in a swashbuckling adventure of the classic tale of Treasure Island. They promise a daft hunt for treasure, peppered with many songs, jokes and of course Pirates. Book now at www.burdockvalleyplayers.com

The Whitchurch Silk Mill, they are excited to be able to offer Christmas shopping in the grounds of the Mill on the 4th and 5th December 10.30am – 4pm. Free entry to the Christmas Market and Mill on both days.There will be mulled wine available to warm your hands and Singing for Fun will be with us in the afternoon on each day at 2pm for a spot of carol singing.There will also be children’s activities on offer.

Andover Radios DJ, Chris Burford, will be providing the festive tunes at Andover CE schools Christmas fete on Saturday which runs from 12pm -4pm.

The YMCA Toy sale takes place on Saturday, 10am-2pm. Pop along and grab yourself a bargain. No booking necessary, they will be ensuring that they keep to Covid-19 restrictions, therefore there may be a small wait.

Oaktrack Christmas Market will be taking place on Saturday from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm, they promise that there will be lots of seasonal produce and Christmas ingredients; local artisan food and drink stalls including cheese charcuterie and gin; handmade cards, gifts, crafts, stocking fillers ,Music, hot food and mulled wine.

The Chantry Centre pop-up market is set to return this Saturday with a host of fantastic gifts on offer.Browse an array of gorgeous artisan products, from amazing cakes and candles to beautifully handmade crafts and deliciously indulgent bath goodies to help pamper and relax. All carefully curated by talented independent traders.Located next to the grotto near Toy Arena, the pop-up market will be open from 10am to 5pm.

On Sunday, The lights holds the Wrapped Up Food and Gift Christmas Fair. A wide range of gift, craft and food stalls to get you ahead of the Christmas shopping game without the stress.Plus seasonal food and drink offerings from the Arena cafe. Entry is free and the fair will run from 10am – 3pm.
