An award-winning Andover dance school is preparing to bring the music and iconic performances of Michael Jackson to the stage with a special production later this year.

Can Dance, Will Dance (CDWD) will present a Michael Jackson-inspired dance show at The Lights in Andover on Wednesday 25 November 2026, bringing dancers together for an energetic celebration of the music of one of the world’s most recognisable performers.
Led by a fully qualified dance teacher, CDWD offers classes for children, teenagers and adults in Andover and has built a reputation for encouraging dancers of different ages and abilities to develop their skills and confidence.
For its November production, the school will turn its attention to Michael Jackson’s extraordinary musical career, with audiences taken on a journey through some of his most famous songs and performances.
The show will feature specially created choreography, costumes and performances from CDWD dancers, with each routine designed to bring a different part of Jackson’s musical legacy to life on stage.
With a catalogue spanning decades and including some of pop music’s most instantly recognisable tracks, the production promises plenty of opportunities for ambitious routines and high-energy performances.
Organisers say the evening will celebrate not only Jackson’s music, but also the distinctive choreography and performance style that became such an important part of his career and influence on popular culture.
There is also still an opportunity for local dancers to become part of the production.
Can Dance, Will Dance is currently welcoming new dancers who would like to take part, with anyone interested encouraged to contact the school before rehearsals begin on Saturday 5 September.
The production will take place at The Lights, Andover, on 25 November 2026, with tickets going on sale from 1 September.
The show will offer local audiences the chance to enjoy an evening of dance while supporting performers from the Andover area as they take on the music, movement and spectacle associated with the King of Pop.
