International Cat Day

Today, 8th August 2018 is international cat day.  International Cat Day is a full 24 hours of recognition and veneration of one of humanity’s oldest and most beloved pets.

Andover Cats protection are a group of local people who love Cats.

They have three main objectives :-

1. To rescue, rehabilitate and re-home stray and unwanted cats and kittens.

I have two cats which i adopted from Andover cats protection. If your looking for a pet cat, this is the best way to get a cat to suit you and your family.

They will  view the location of your house as most cats want to go out during the day and they need to know that it is safe. They will also want to meet all members of your family including any other pets that you may have. To ensure the cat is going to a good home. Before being placed in their new homes, all cats are neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

You can browse the cats that are looking for a new home here

2. To encourage the neutering of cats.

Please see details here of the Free Neutering program

3. To educate the public about the care of cats and kittens.
