Over £6,800 Raised at Jon Baxter Charity Match, Featuring Chelsea Legend Petr Cech

The annual Jon Baxter charity match, hosted by Andover New Street Youth FC, was a remarkable success, drawing a significant turnout from the community and raising an impressive £6,838 for charity.

The event, held on April 27th, featured a series of exciting football matches and was highlighted by the appearance of Chelsea legend Petr Cech, whose daughter plays for the club’s Vixens team.

The club’s spokesperson expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the day possible, saying, “The Andover New Street Youth FC Family would like to say a HUGE thank you to the wonderful businesses who sponsored our charity day last month, to all of those who so kindly donated raffle prizes and bought tickets.

All the players, coaches, and officials for the three fantastic football matches, our amazing team of volunteers who put in all of the hard work behind the scenes to make the day a success, and last but by no means least, everyone of you who came and supported the day. I

t was an even bigger success than last year, and we are so happy to say we raised an outstanding £6,838 which will be split between SHOUT, Hampshire Hospitals Charity, the Forget Me Not Fund, and the Youth FC – we couldn’t have done it without you!”
