Police are appealing for information following two suspicious incidents in Andover.
The most recent incident happened just before midnight on Saturday, April 6 at an address on Highlands Road. One of the homeowners disturbed a man who was stood in her kitchen.
The woman challenged the man, who is described as white and aged in his 20s, and he ran away and nothing was stolen.
Just before midnight on Friday, April 5 a man was seen acting suspiciously in the back garden of an address on Herons Rise. He was seen to look through the windows at the back of the house. When the homeowner turned on the light, he ran off.
Detective Constable Luke Donovan, said: “I am appealing to anyone with any information about either of these incidents to come forward and speak to us. Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area on Friday or Saturday night, or at any other times recently? Have you experienced a similar incident that you’ve not yet reported to the police?
“As always I would remind residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police immediately. Always ensure your house is secure, even when you’re at home, by making sure doors and windows are locked.”
