What’s On During the School Easter Holidays for Andover Families

The school Easter holidays are from Friday 2nd April to Friday 16th April 2021.

The Lockdown exit plan is ;

  • From 29 March, outdoor gatherings (including in private gardens) of either 6 people (the Rule of 6) or 2 households will also be allowed, making it easier for friends and families to meet outside.
  • Outdoor attractions like zoos and theme parks, all other children activities including indoors and libraries/community centres can open from the 12th April

Who’s open for some Easter Fun ?

Finkley Down Farm in Andover

They plan to re-open on the 12th of April, Please note that due to Government restrictions there is no indoor seating and the Indoor Playbarn & Reptile Encounters have to remain closed. Tickets are on sale now and all visits need to be be booked in advance via their website here

Hawk Conservatory Trust

Reopening on the 12th April and you can book tickets online now.

They are running a Spring Eggs-travaganza Activity Trail, Pre-booking your visit is essential (for members and non-members). To allow for social distancing at the Trust, they must restrict the number of visitors. Tickets cannot be refunded or moved to a different date. Click here to book

Bourne Valley Pick Your Own, St Marybourne

Will be open for The Easter Bunny Hunt, Cafe and playgrounds over the Easter period. The Easter Bunny Hunt which takes place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th April . Opening times 9am and last booking at 4pm closing at 5pm.

A little bit further away, ( about 25 mins away by car) but what Easter would be complete without a visit here for an Easter egg hunt….

Mottisfont

Join an Easter adventure in nature at Mottisfont. Discover family-friendly trail with fun activities for you to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end. We know how much joy our Easter egg trails bring to our visitors each year and we hope this year will be the same. However, we ask that you support your local property and tickets must be booked in advance.

Monday 29th March till Sunday 11th April 10am-4:30pm. £3 per trail, normal property admission applies (free for National Trust members and under 5s).

Pick up your trail pack and discover loads of fun challenges for children, from planting seeds to designing bug hotels.

You don’t need to book your Easter trails, but you will need to book your Easter visit.  To manage visitor numbers so that social distancing can be ensured for the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors, the pre-booking system still applies. Booking will provide access to the property, not the Easter adventures in nature trail, which can be purchased on the day.

Tickets are released every Friday, so you won’t be able to book your Easter visit until Friday 26th March. Click here to book

Indoor attractions cannot open until 17th May, so unfortunately won’t be able to enjoyed during the Easter holidays.
