On Thursday, September 21st, Nidges Artisan Pizza and The Gin Palace collaborated for an unforgettable Pizza & Gin night.
Nigel Male, the mastermind behind Nidges Artisan Pizza, brought his culinary expertise to The Gin Palace, creating a delectable pizza called “The Wessex.” This pizza featured a delightful infusion of basil, skilfully chosen to complement Wessex Spirits Test Valley Gin, a locally crafted gin produced right on-site at The Gin Palace under the capable hands of Kate Griffin.
The evening was an epitome of local flavour, with Nidge himself taking on the role of a gracious table server. This allowed guests to sit back and savour the locally crafted gins or savour a selection of beers from The Andover Tap while they eagerly awaited their freshly prepared pizzas.
The event was graced by the presence of a VIP waitress, none other than Cllr Iris Anderson, who added an extra touch of elegance to the gathering. The atmosphere buzzed with the chatter and laughter of guests who came together to relish the perfect pairing of pizza and gin.
For those who missed out on this extraordinary evening, there’s good news on the horizon. Nidge will be returning to The Gin Palace for another Pizza X Gin night on the 19th of October 2023 at 6 pm.
