As the weather takes a turn for the worse, it is great news for local parents to hear that indoor play areas are now re- opening.
Jungle Jungle
They are planning to open in early November, subject to any changes to national or local lock down rules.
They shared on their Facebook page their plans for opening.
“We will be session based, and all entrance will only be via a pre-book online process. Each Booking will be for a specific table in the centre. Numbers for each session will be limited, and to start with, we will only be opening Wednesday – Sunday.
Under Track and Trace, the online booking process will need to take details of everybody attending. All Track and Trace specific information will be destroyed after 21 days.
We will also be operating Food and Drink orders from your table via on-line ordering. As a result, we will be going cashless, everything will be paid via a debit / credit card (with no minimum amount).Unfortunately, we can not currently accommodate any parties of any sort, and this is likely to be for some considerable time. Therefore, we will not be accepting any party bookings for the foreseeable future. Under the National Guidelines, Face masks will need to be worn by all those over 11 years old whilst in the centre (accept for when eating/drinking).We will also be complying with the rule of 6, which means the maximum table size will be for 6. Tables unfortunately will NOT be able to join up or mix with other tables (and tables will be separated with partitions within the centre).We also have nice new wooden chairs (we also have nice new wooden tables, but for the time being, we will be using the old tables as they give more room for the layout being used for Covid Social Distancing).
We will release further details in November, including the on-line booking website.“
Finkley Down Farm
Indoor Play will only be open weekdays in term time due to the reduced capacity of the building. You will be required to book a timed session. Indoor Play is not currently open at weekends or school holidays.
