Football fans in Andover will have the chance to spend an evening with one of England’s greatest sporting icons when Sir Geoff Hurst brings his farewell tour to The Lights in January 2027.
Tickets for Sir Geoff Hurst: Last Man Standing are now on sale, with organisers urging supporters to book early as demand is expected to be high for what is being billed as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Sir Geoff remains the only surviving member of England’s 1966 FIFA World Cup-winning team and is forever etched into football history as the only player to score a hat-trick in a men’s World Cup Final. His three goals at Wembley helped England secure a famous 4-2 victory over West Germany, delivering the nation’s only senior men’s World Cup triumph.
The Last Man Standing tour is expected to be Sir Geoff’s final series of live theatre appearances, giving audiences one last chance to hear first-hand stories from one of football’s most celebrated careers.
Throughout the evening, Sir Geoff will reflect on his remarkable life in football, sharing memories from the 1966 World Cup, his playing career and the people who shaped his journey.
Joining him on stage once again will be his long-time friend and agent, Terry Baker, who will interview Sir Geoff before bringing plenty of humour to the second half of the show with light-hearted conversation that has proved a hit with audiences across the country.
Fans also have the opportunity to make the evening even more memorable with one of just 66 VIP tickets available. The VIP experience includes the chance to meet Sir Geoff before the show, have a professional photograph taken with him and receive an autograph. VIP tickets are priced at £80, while standard tickets cost £35, with booking fees applying where relevant.
Although Sir Geoff is said to be in excellent form, organisers have indicated that he does not expect to tour again after this run, making the performance a unique opportunity for football supporters to see the England legend live on stage.
