Local Charity Focus: Andover Foodbank – By April (Harrow Way School)

Andover foodbank is a charity to support people in Britain struggling to put food on the table. The food bank uses recourses within the local community to support those in need.

Places such as schools, churches, groups and community’s support the food bank to make it all possible. As well as supplying food to those in need, Andover food bank offers support to help people address the underlying issues behind their crisis.

The Andover food bank believes that no one in our community should have to face going hungry, this is why they provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred them in crisis.

The Andover food bank has been open since 2006, just last year (2023) they fed 7000+ people in the test valley area. The food bank uses a voucher system. If local agencies believe you’re struggling they will provide you with a food bank voucher.
