The Lights theatre in Andover to upgrade Box Office system!

The Lights in Andover is about to switch to a new, improved, Box Office system. With exciting additional features and a brand-new What’s On page included, the developments will mean that customers will continue to receive the very best service when they visit the venue, are calling into Box Office, or when purchasing tickets for shows and events on The Lights website.

The theatre venue has selected Ticketsolve to oversee the upgrade of the system a Box Office Platform company that works with over 345 organisations and has helped to grow a community of theatres across the country. Leicester Square Theatre, Venue Cymru, The Helix, and New Theatre Royal Portsmouth are just a selection of theatres that have seen the benefits of joining forces with Ticketsolve. The Lights looks forward to a prosperous time ahead working closely with the company.

To ensure the successful delivery of the new system, there will be a downtime period for The Lights from Monday, 21st until Wednesday 23rd of August. Due to this slight disruption, customers will be encouraged to know that the new autumn-winter season brochure will be dropping slightly earlier onto their doormats this month and will also be available in local tourist spots, pubs, and shops from the week commencing Monday the 7th of August. The new season features a huge amount of comedy, a tremendous tennis-themed theatre show, speakers, ballet, and of course festive favourites.

Following the downtime period, on Thursday 24th of August, it’ll be business as usual at The Lights. With the new system in place, supporters of the local theatre will once again be able to book online via the new What’s On page at any time, as well as purchase in person or over the phone during Box Office opening hours. New season shows and beyond will be available for the 120,000 (per year) customers that come through the venue doors.
