Woman suffers broken wrist after Andover assault

Police in Andover are appealing for witnesses after a woman was left with a broken wrist following an assault in Andover.

The 28-year-old was walking along Winchester Street, in the early hours of Sunday, 25 March, when she was assaulted by a man and a woman.

She was pushed to the ground and punched and kicked.

She suffered a broken wrist and was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital for treatment.

The man and woman are described as being in their early to mid-20s.

DC Chris Phillips said, “Despite this happening between 3.30am and 4.00am, we know that there were quite a few people around who were heading home after a night out.

“So if you saw what happened or if you think you know those responsible, please get in touch.”
