A new season springs into life at The Lights!

The new season at The Lights will take you from winter gloom right through to spring 2020 and will brighten up the darkest nights!

The new brochure kicks off with a packed month of Christmas celebrations for all ages, including The Big Band at Christmas for the adults, and Santa’s Christmas Countdown for the younger audience. Or to bridge the gap with some family friendly entertainment for all ages, why not try The Adventures of Pinocchio from Oddsocks. It is sure to be hilarious!  Or for some classical enjoyment this festive season why not come along and see a tale as old as time – Snow White from Vienna Festival Ballet on 14 December at 2pm and 7pm.

Headline acts between December and the end of April include talented tributes from Simply ReRED and Back to Bacharach; riotous comedy from Jo Brand, Carl Hutchinson, Suzi Ruffell, Andy Parsons and Simon Brodkin, and original music from The Schmoozenbergs, Flats and Sharps, Clare Teal and Marty Wilde.

Theatre lovers will adore Revenge by Robin Hawdon and Bleak House from The Pantaloons, and children’s theatre includes Star in a Jar from favourites, Pied Piper Theatre and The Curious Garden in April, as well as a whole host of holiday workshops over the February half term and Easter.

The listings go right through until the end of April, so pick up your brochure, settle down with a cup of Moonroast Artisan coffee in our Arena Café and enjoy browsing the full range of entertainment on offer live and local at The Lights.
