Sitting in the garden
Drinking a cup of tea
Relaxing for five minutes
When along comes a buzzing bee
It flies around and around my head
And just won’t leave me alone
I move away from the flowers
But it follows me like a dog with a bone
Now, I know they’re good for the garden
But at the moment I really don’t care
I just want it to buzz right off
And fly away – anywhere!
The cat is watching it intently
Getting ready to pounce
No, No, No you silly puss
It will sting inside your mouth
I creep away so silently
It’s back indoors for me
Leaving the bee to the flowers
And I can drink me tea
In Peace!!
