Andover is set to honour and celebrate its Armed Forces with a day filled with live music and community spirit at the Andover Armed Forces Day 2024. This annual event, held on Saturday, June 29th, promises a vibrant and heartfelt tribute to the men and women who serve in the nation’s military, featuring performances by some of the finest local talent.
This year’s celebration will showcase a diverse and exciting line-up of musical acts, ensuring entertainment for all ages throughout the day. The Andover Musical Theatre Company will bring their theatrical flair and musical prowess to the stage, delivering a captivating performance that promises to be a highlight of the event.
Joining them will be the melodious Vigo Choir, known for their harmonious renditions and powerful vocal performances. The Military Wives Choir will also grace the event with their touching and uplifting songs, celebrating the strength and resilience of military families.
Adding to the musical extravaganza, Common Ground will bring their unique sound, blending various genres to create a memorable performance. And to cap off the day, Mojo and the Royal Restitution will deliver a high-energy show that will have everyone dancing and singing along.
Andover Armed Forces Day is not just about music; it is a day to come together as a community to recognise and appreciate the dedication and sacrifice of our Armed Forces. The event will feature various activities and displays, including military exhibitions, family-friendly activities, and food stalls offering a range of delicious options.
