Face Mask Initiative in Andover

As Andover town centre businesses prepared for customers to wear face masks when they do their shopping, one business was already ahead of the Prime Ministers recent announcement and had started to make face masks and to use the opportunity to raise money for charity .

The face masks are made locally from washable fabric in a variety of different patterns and sizes for men, women & kids. They are free of charge and people are asked to make a donation to NHS Charities if they wish . Before the announcement £240 had already been raised but that sum has already increased to £ 430.

Rachel Belle owner of independent high street store , Andover Framing said, ” we are delighted to have been able to develop a simple initiative offering the people of Andover , colourful face protection whilst through generous customer donations being able to support NHS charities that do so much to help us . if any other business would like one, or would like their customers round , we’ll happily supply them.”
