Andover BID has a new director, Ange Moon, Chief Officer of the Test Valley Citizen’s Advice Bureau who has joined the board.
The BID representing over 200 businesses in Andover town centre has a small professional board of directors drawn from within their business members.
Ange Moon says “I have 20 years’ experience in the Citizens Advice service and have been Chief Officer of Citizens Advice Test Valley since 2014. My role takes me out and about within the whole of Test Valley, but I have been a resident in Andover for the last 32 years so feel I know the town of Andover very well and have seen many changes. I am committed to putting Andover back on the map – I feel over the past 10 years the town has lost its identity and I want to be part of the team who are doing something to make the change and this is my motivation for joining the board of the BID. We have an excellent and enthusiastic board, we are very clear of our objectives and through an open approach and strong partnership working, the BID is contributing to the vibrancy of the local economy. I very much look forward to becoming an active board member and relish the challenge and opportunities that this brings me”.
Kevin Paterson, chair of Andover BID is delighted to welcome Ange to the board and says, “We have an effective and strategic board chosen for their skill set and enthusiasm to support the BID manager in achieving the objectives that businesses have told us they want us to deliver. Although the BID is in its infancy, we have already made some significant achievements and are working on other plans and initiatives for the town. I am delighted that Ange Moon has agreed to join us as she brings enthusiasm with a wealth of very welcome local and professional experience”.
The Andover BID is funded by over 200 businesses in Andover. Andover BID is a not for profit company and it’s business members are represented through their board of directors, all of whom are levy-payers from different business sectors in the town or are members of our partnership organisations who have a vested interest in Andover and its business economy.
