Gear up as Andover festival of motoring returns

Andover festival of motoring returns again this year on Sunday 22nd September, and it promises to be bigger and better.

Founding members Sheryl Scott-Clarke and Micheal Ford are delighted to announce the 5th Anniversary of the Andover Festival of Motoring on Sunday 22nd September, from 10am – 4pm.  Sheryl said “This year’s Festival nearly didn’t happen but thanks to Our Andover CIC for finding us and assisting this year in hosting our event at short notice, the founding members have been able to put on the largest Festival so far”

The Festival is free to the Public and will cover the Town Centre and Vigo Park, with over 300 vehicles and fun fair rides. Cars, motorbikes, aviation, military, farming and commercial vehicles will be on display, alongside character cars Batmobile, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Noddy Car and the Flintstones.

The organisers are continuing seeking more unique vehicles for the day and Sheryl adds “We are still looking for more vehicles for the day, it’s going to be a brilliant day to showcase all the wonderful vehicles. Children and adults alike will have a great day, there will be something for everyone”

Large vehicles are £20, cars £10 and motorbikes £5 and all proceeds go to charity. To register your interest contact Sheryl via email andoverfestivalofmotoring@outlook.com

Andover Radio will be broadcasting from the event, Director of Opportunities Ben Tuffin says “This is such a great family event and well attended every year, it is a delight to be involved in this years event“.
