“Outrageous” behaviour

Shepherds Spring Pharmacy

The staff at Shepherds Spring Medical Centre are still having to put up with abuse.

Lorraine Cutting from the pharmacy says, “I’m extremely upset and angry at all the nasty comments myself and my colleagues are dealing with lately.

“It’s outrageous and out of our control. It’s not our fault if your meds are not in stock.”

Customers have previously been asked to show some respect for those people who are working in stressful and dangerous conditions.

It is expected that waiting times in queues today may be up to three hours long.

“This is because of panic ordering,” adds Mrs Cutting. “This means our old and infirm customers are suffering”.

Prescription collection services are available through the Unity Coronavirus Helpline on 0330 400 4116. They can arrange for people to collect prescriptions for customers who are unable to leave their property, or will be unable to manage the wait.
