Its October! The wheel has turned to Mabon, Autumn, everything moves. The seasons roll on, into the season of hibernation, everything starts to slow down, the nights draw in.

How do you slow down, do you slow down? I was very lucky to go to Stonehenge in September with a friend who had bought me a sunset tour of the stones. I have been to Stonehenge before, but only during the solstice, this was a very different experience, it was quiet, I had time to think, to feel.

The energy was beautiful, we also had a guide chatting to us about the stones, very very interesting, they are made from Sarsen stone with DNA coming from Wiltshire. They are also 95% crystal. What are your beliefs around Stonehenge? In my imagination I can hear the historic chanting, I can see people coming to celebrate – fascinating experience – I would highly recommend it.

I also spent a weekend in Glastonbury in September where I had some beautiful meditations around spirit guides, I learned more about my guides, who they are, and what their purpose is. Do you have spirit guides? Do you believe in them? I also met 2 new goddesses to work with, Artemis and Ariadne, both beautiful energies whom I very much look forward to working with more, Although Ariadne could have been a little more subtle rather than sending the biggest spider she could find! Ariadne is the weaver, the Greek goddess who assisted Theseus in his escape from the labyrinth.

Artemis the Greek goddess of animals, the wilderness and childbirth, this explains a lot. Did you see and hear the thunder storms also, I stood outside in the rain watching and listening in awe of mother nature, what’s your reaction to storms? I was having a particularly hard night dealing with grief that night, so to stand outside and feel the rain wash over me was indeed very healing and cleansing, I felt my grief was being washed away by mother earth, instead of pain I started to feel love and release.

We have Samhain (pronounced sow in) on the 31st October, you may know it as Halloween. It is where night and day are equal times and the veil between the worlds thin, It is also new year for us Pagans, I will be having a stand in the high street during the Halloween town event so please do come and say hi Everything is energy and energy is everything

Have a blessed October
