Travelodge aim to create more than 150 jobs in Hampshire with a plan for 9 new hotels in the county – with one target possibly being Andover, boosting jobs for the town.
Their UK Development Director, Tony O’Brien, said the county is one of the top performers in the UK and demand was growing. They are currently looking at 10 sites across the county with Andover being one of them – providing further jobs for the town.
The planned exapnsion is in addition to a major refit going on throughout 2013-14 at Travelodge hotels to implement their new room design.
