Christopher Sims has been jailed for life after being found guilty of charges including terrorising Longparish couple Graeme and Clare Francis.
Sims, 40 from Launcelot Close, Andover, admitted various charges including harassment and grievous bodily harm and will serve a minimum 16 years.
Winchester Crown Court heard he had lost his job as a BT engineer before starting a solar panel business that subsequently failed, leading to his and his wife’s Andover home being repossessed.
In addition to the Longparish couple he also attacked a 74-year-old man from Aldershot as well as a 22-year-old man near Hook. The Aldershot man helped Police trace Sims by putting his finger inside the attacker’s mouth to gain DNA evidence.
