The Travelling cupcake has been involved in a secret takeover of Lucy’s kitchen!
Very soon all things cake related will be moved from 4 bridge street to 80 HIGH STREET. They are continuing to run Lucy’s kitchen as a kitchen and bakeware store and just adding to the mix.
Bev and Greg are a success story of a growing business in Andover Town.
The Travelling cupcake was started in Bevs Kitchen, she had been made redundant from a job she loved whilst pregnant with her third child and felt very sorry for herself, she was very frustrated at constantly being broke, and never ever wanted to be in the situation of relying on someone for a job ever again! She started a facebook page which is still going today, here, and sold her cakes and delivered to people at home, those who followed me in my MITK days will know we were there, i too was a mum with young children at that time i NEEDED Cake delivered to my home. It was fantastic.
Bev was then offered a pop up shop and just grew ….
Below shows an image of when she first opened as a pop up shop in Bridge street in 2013 for 3 weeks.
After the pop up shop they then set up in waterloo court in May 2014
Before returning to the shop in Bridge street.
The GBBO became the GKBO as Andover Carnival Royalty attended a Kids baking party at The Travelling Cupcake in 2015.
We can’t wait to see what they do next in Andover.
