Andover cinema back open for business

Our very own film reviewer George Philips, is very excited that Andover cinema has announced that finally they will be reopening.

George tells us more, “Odeon have finally announced their post-covid19 reopening plan and it is mere weeks away. Andover cinema goers will be able to enjoy the silver screen again as of August the 25th . Day one will air the likes of Jurassic Park, Disney Pixar’s “Onward” and a 10th anniversary screening of Inception before the main event on the 26th . The main event of course being the much anticipated Christopher Nolan sci-fi thriller Tenet, originally scheduled to release in July.

It won’t be business as usual, however, as Odeon have implemented safeguarding measures to ensure that they limit the possibility of covid19 spreading through their guests or staff. These new measures include more thorough cleaning between films, limiting the number of viewers per showing, a contactless paying experience and of course requiring the use of a face covering. Odeon have expressed that once seated, guests will be able to remove their masks to enjoy their food and drinks.”
