Andover to Andover: Can You Cycle Across the Atlantic for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice?

Calling all cycling fans (and anyone who loves a good challenge)! This July, a brand new virtual event is taking place to raise money for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice in Andover.

The goal? To cycle the 3,210 miles together that separate Andover, UK from Andover, USA! Whether you prefer the comfort of your home gym, the thrill of the open road, or a spin on your own exercise bike, this unique challenge lets you join in at your own pace and on your own terms. You decide how far you want to cycle throughout July – it’s your challenge, your way!

Registration is completely free, with participants simply asked to try and raise at least £50 in sponsorship. Every mile you cycle counts towards your own personal goal, and all the miles logged together contribute to the grand total achieved by the Countess of Brecknock Hospice (COBH) group.

Getting started and smashing your fundraising goals is easy. Simply head to https://app.raceatyourpace.com/groups/COBH/2024/7 to register. Once you’re signed up, remember to share the COBH JustGiving page – with your friends, family, and colleagues to kick off your fundraising.

The organisers are encouraging individuals, families, and even businesses to get involved and help them reach their ambitious 3,210-mile target. So, dust off your bikes, lace up your trainers, and get ready to virtually cycle your way across the Atlantic for a fantastic cause!
